About this course
Number Trail Grade 3 is where multiplying and dividing begin. Bennie the Bear and his friends use equal groups, arrays and number lines to teach multiplication and division facts within 100, rounding, and adding and subtracting within 1000. Children meet fractions as numbers on a number line, compare them, and find equal fractions. They tell time to the minute, measure grams, kilograms and liters, read scaled bar graphs and line plots, find area and perimeter, and sort quadrilaterals. Every line can be read aloud and every week is free.
Kids will
- Round numbers and add and subtract within 1000
- Multiply and divide within 100 with equal groups and arrays
- Solve one- and two-step story problems
- Understand fractions on a number line, and compare and match equal fractions
- Tell time to the minute and measure mass and liquid volume
- Find area and perimeter, read scaled graphs and sort quadrilaterals
