About this course
Applied AI is an 8-week course for parents, teachers and small-business owners with no tech background, about 15 minutes a day. You learn what AI tools are and why they can state false things with confidence. You learn what never to type into one, how to word a clear request and check the answer, and how to spot AI-made scams. Each Thursday has a section for your track: home, classroom or business. You finish with a one-page AI plan. The course never connects you to an AI tool, and every fact comes from a public source such as NIST or the US Department of Education. 100% free, start to finish.
Kids will

- Keep private, student and customer information out of AI tools
- Write a clear request and check every output before you use it
- Spot unfair results and AI-made scams, and set up a family or team code word
- Use AI honestly: disclose it, never fake reviews, know the copyright basics
